Ok, I know I haven’t been blogging that much lately, I have had so much going on that I didn’t have time to breath. So apologies ladies. MAC MAC MAC what is it about MAC? What is it that just makes us feel so warm inside when we purchase goodies from there? I literally don’t get the same rush with any other brand funny isn’t?
So I went to a MAC product launch a couple of weeks ago (Ok more like two months ago) I went with the intentions of only buying a lip liner ………………….MMMMMmmmm why do we lie to ourselves eh? I ended up spending over a hundred euros on products that quite frankly I didn’t need, but deep down I really did need them if you catch my drift 😉
Let’s start with Pro Longwear nourishing waterproof foundation, ok as much as I love MAC I haven’t consistently used their foundations since I was a teenager. I just find that most of their foundations just don’t suit my skin. So I was pleasantly surprised with the Pro longwear, the product description describes this foundation as a 24-hour waterproof foundation that can also be used as a concealer. Now I wouldn’t go as far as to say that this the great double act (Concealer & foundation) But I would say this is a beautiful oil free weightless foundation that really does last for 24 hours as brazen as it sounds (Yes I can testify that it actually does last for 24 hours) So for me this is definitely a repurchase.
Now now the Burgundy Times Nine was a 100% impulse buy! I have so many eyeshadows I could paint a wall with them. But I saw this beautiful palate and I just couldn’t say no. There is a fabulous mix of burgundy and mauve hues that provides you with a great mix of matte, satin and frost finishes. This is a great little portable palate that really delivers an AM to PM look. As far as a repurchase I am not sure if its worth the money though :/.
I also purchased the Japanese Spring lip gloss in a pale dirty pink. You can never really go wrong with a light pink glow.Probably one of my favorite things about MAC’S lipsticks and lip glosses is their smell, I love it so much I find myself reapplying it over and over again. The next thing I, love is their staying power and they come in a great variety of shades. I’ll be forever a MAC girl when it comes to buying lipsticks, pencils and glosses!
